Good Ol' Fashioned Tribal Shakedown

This is an amazing opportunity to learn from one of the true greats in tribal belly dance.

This 3-hour workshop delivers drills and combinations for quicker tempos. Combinations lend themselves well in improvisation, providing variety and contrast. They also prove handy as building blocks in choreography. Movements will be broken down and drilled. Combos will be joined together to form a short dance. Some belly dance experience highly recommended.

Mardi's Bio: Mardi Love is assistant director, choreographer, and part time costumier for internationally-renowned dance company The Indigo. Mardi began dancing in San Diego with Heather Stants, and was a founding member of Urban Tribal Dance Company. Mardi has toured extensively with The Bellydance Superstars. These days she dances with Rachel Brice and Zoe of The Indigo and the Le Serpent Rouge revue.
